Healthy Love

This edition of The Love Post is part of a series. We’ll be reviewing Napoleon Hill‘s 17 Principles of Success and how they relate to creating a life that you absolutely Love.

Maintenance of Sound Health

Your most valuable asset.

You have nothing without your health. Your sound health begins in your mind — your health consciousness. Just as the right foods and exercise can prevent disease and increase your lifespan, so can the right healthy thoughts.

~Napoleon Hill

It’s true.

What you think is what you get.

And what creates your thoughts? What you’re feeding your brain!

These words of wisdom from the great Napoleon Hill affirm my belief in the Love diet.

The Love Diet prescribes only taking in positive, Loving experiences to the greatest degree possible. This means skipping the TV (practically altogether), mass media news, people that drag you down, etc.

Instead, focus on being conscious and aware of consuming positive material for your mind to create with.

What are you thinking about after your read The Love Post?

Healthy Love

It doesn’t matter what level of health you are at, you can get a little closer to your optimal state of well being right now.

Sit up straight. Take a deep breath. Relax. Take a few more deep breaths.

Picture yourself in top shape. Not just physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

You are a powerful, creative being.

Think about taking good, Loving care of your body, the temple of your mind, every single day.

Think about nurturing and nourishing healthy, Loving thoughts.

Here are seven simple Loving reminders to help you keep your most valuable asset working for you:

Spend time with people that make you happy.

Take time to read uplifting books.

Write in a journal.

Drink plenty of water.

Eat lots of veggies, fruit and fiber.

Choose an activity or two that you enjoy and make sure you use your muscles often.

Set health goals and get support in achieving them.

Rest.

Your body is a complex machine. And your mind is even more complex!

If the flesh and bones are seeming high maintenance, remember to use your master muscle (Go brain!) to inform the rest of your physicality.

Think health and make healthy decisions.

Feel good about your ability to learn, to grow and to change. If you want health, it is yours for the making!
