Love Song

Today’s edition of The Love Post is a confession. I’ve been holding back. I’ve (*sort of) kept my best gift a secret.

Yes, I Love words and I offer them freely here twice a week. And I’ve focused on what I consider to be the most important subject there is: Love.

Still, to be honest, I’ve got to admit that I can give more. I can add a whole new Love songdimension to my message by speaking a Universal language: music.

I Love Music. I am music. My music is one of my most authentic bits of Self.

Singing My Love Song

So, I want to practice what I preach and do what I Love. I want to share my unique gift with the world. I want you to feel my Love in every note.

*I used to sing in the subway in Boston. It was amazing. I Loved it. If you want, you can get my solo CD, Subculture.

Then I had a band in Vermont. You can check out Free Creatures too!

And then I had Babies . . . Even more reason to sing! Just a bit distracting. 😉

I’m starting to make music again more now. My husband and I sing and play guitar, bass, keyboards and ukelele after the girls are in bed. New recordings are in the works!

For now though, I want to share the lyrics to a song called Arwen’s Anthem, because I feel they describe my role pretty well!

My people are leaving these shores
But Men will not stand alone
While I still have air in my lungs
I’ll show them of this Love

I’ll Be the Love, Be the Love, Be the Love
I’ll Be the Love I’m made of
I’ll Be the Love, Be the Love, Be the Love
I’ll Be the Love I’m made of

Mother Your Radiance
Father Your Shining Light
Sister Your Beauty and
Sister Your Strength of Mind

For all Man knows
We still don’t know
That we don’t know at all . . .
Tomorrow doesn’t have to look like yesterday

Just Be the Love, Be the Love, Be the Love
Just Be the Love You’re made of
Just Be the Love, Be the Love, Be the Love
Just Be the Love You’re made of

Earth and Air
Stardust
And Sunlight
And always the Water

My people are leaving these shores
But Men will not stand alone

While I still have air in my lungs

What’s Your Love Song to Sing?

Even if music isn’t your medium, You have a unique message to bring to the world. Do you know what it is?

If you do, please find a way to share it! Be willing to take risks, face your fears and overcome any obstacle. Because living your Love is the only way to really know success and happiness in this life.

And if you’re wondering what your Love song sounds like, just keep listening. Keep asking the Universe to show you the way to your truest expression of self.

And know that you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. You are on the Path, learning how to use your super human powers for the glory of Love!

Please share this Love Song with all your friends!

Here’s to making your Soul sing ♥
