Love Makes No Excuses

This week, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying Dr. Wayne Dyer’s audio program, Excuses Begone! How to Change Lifelong Self-Defeating Thinking Habits.

In it, Dr. Dyer walks you through a process of increasing your awareness and examining your beliefs so that you can experience the positive change you seek in your life.

It’s truly amazing what we can do when we open our minds and hearts to what is truly possible.

And I want to be living proof that everything is possible with Love.

Confession of a Love Teacher

Tonight, I just didn’t feel like writing. I didn’t even have any idea what I was going to write about.

So I’ll be really honest right now.

I almost came up with an excuse to skip this edition of The Love Post.

And then I thought about Wayne’s wonderful teachings . . . And I thought about my own teaching . . . The Amazing Power of Non-Negotiables  . . .
And even the previous edition of The Love Post, Love Supports You All the Time, shares my daughter’s idea that sometimes Love means doing what you don’t want to do . . .

. . . And I realized that I was writing this Post tonight, whether I “felt” like it or not!

Because I am here to serve you.

I’m here to help you become the very best version of yourself.

And to do that, I need to stay committed to personal development and self-discipline too.

So, here I am.

Affirming that you’ve got everything you need to make your dreams come true.

Just keep your eye on the prize. (Happiness is progress!)

Make no excuses.

Stay calm.

Stay positive.

Stay focused.

Make sure you give yourself some cool rewards for getting through your “To Do” List.

The “Done” List

When you don’t feel like doing something  . . . Take a deep breath and imagine it already done.

Feels great, doesn’t it?

Now use that energy and just do it!

Have you ever noticed that thinking about doing something is usually harder than actually doing it?
I find that to be true.

If for some reason, you aren’t ready to do what needs to be done, stay peaceful. Seek inspiration.
Reach out for some positive input from one of your favorite teachers or leaders.
(Obviously, Wayne’s pretty high on my list!)

Know that even if you’re not feeling it, Love’s your rock. She can give you the strength and power that you need to do anything!

So go rock your Love!
