Parenting with Love

The fastest way to create a more Loving world is to teach a whole generation of young people to live in a loving way.

And teaching Love at home is where it all begins.

Whether you are already a parent or you aspire to bring children into the world, this Love Post is for you!

Love Starts With You

You are the only person that can really know what’s going on with you.

“Only when we fill our own need and feel satiated from within can we truly be fulfilled and happy.”

~Dr. Shefali Tsabary, PhD
Author of The Conscious Parent

Dedicate yourself to positive internal communication. Love who you are and continue to learn. Commit to being your favorite version of yourself.

Remember to teach by example.

Love yourself first so you can Love your family more.

Living Love Together

As your children grow, stay focused on the Love that brought them into being. Model a healthy relationship with your very significant other. (Probably the most influential person in your life.)

Expressing gratitude and showing affection are beautiful habits to cultivate and encourage.

Greet each other enthusiastically.
Smile.
Make eye contact.
Hold hands.
Give massages.
Sing.
Dance.
Get outside.
Hug.
Kiss.
Laugh.

These activities make for a happy home.

Communicate honestly about your wants and needs. Let everyone know that sharing their feelings and desires will help the whole family have more fun and feel more Love.

Aim for each person being well taken care of physically, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually.

This is, of course, is the work of a lifetime. Just do your best. When there are challenges, take a deep breath and ask Love for guidance and wisdom. Even the toughest times will pass. Joy will come again!

For a family to function in a Loving way, each member of the family must know that parenting with lovehe/she is Lovable and Loved. We must do our best to nurture one another and support and encourage personal growth.

Help each person to be their most authentic self by Loving each other just as you are right now.

With this as your focus, you will be a shining example of a Loving family unit!
