Your Love Prescription

“Have some Love and call me in the morning.”

Your Love Prescription

The Scenario

Put together your body, your brain, and your emotional, energetic self, and you’ve got quite a complicated scene. Not surprisingly, things can get pretty . . . complicated!

Then we interact with each other. Every person is like a little Universe, doing its best to relate and communicate with others.

Sometimes it can help you feel better just knowing that it’s okay to feel crummy once in awhile. Every now and then, letting the tears flow releases negativity that’s not worth holding on to.

And lots of times, with Love, we can recognize that our suffering is unnecessary.

Very often, the cause of our problems is how we’re thinking and feeling about a situation, not the situation itself.

Or, perhaps it’s low blood sugar or a need for protein that’s causing trouble. Or you just need more sleep. Maybe you need to exercise and get some endorphins flowing.

As soon as we can take a deep breath and take an honest look at what’s causing our unhappiness, we’re quite likely to move towards a solution naturally.

Know Thyself

As longstanding wisdom suggests, knowing yourself is extremely helpful. If you make a habit of giving yourself Loving attention, you’ll be better able to address issues as they arise.

And, even better, issues are less likely to arise!

A lifestyle of self-care proves to be the foundation of a life of contentment and achievement. Only when your basic needs are met can you really think about taking on more and serving others.

Knowing yourself helps you discover what value you have to offer. Finding out how you can contribute lets you blossom into your most authentic self and feel the satisfaction of making a positive impact.

I just learned a really neat exercise to help you get clear on just how awesome you are.

Take a piece of paper and write down all the experiences, training, education, skills and characteristics about yourself that qualify you to help others. Include what people Love about you and what you Love about yourself.

You’ve got a unique perspective and way of being in the world. You deserve Love and abundance.

Keep this paper handy to reference if you’re ever doubting yourself. Remember: You’re wonderful!

Your Love Prescription

When something’s got you down, give yourself an extra big dose of Love.

Do something that makes you happy. Or if you can’t actually do it at the moment, use the power of your imagination to pretend you’re doing that happy activity in your head.

I know it’s cliché and it sounds cheesy, but think happy thoughts! Think, “I Love You. You’re awesome. This will pass.”

Time works magic if we work with it. And our power to lift ourselves (and others) up is in the present moment.

Appreciate breathing, even if everything else seems to be going wrong.

Do your best to re-focus on the positive. Jot down a list of anything that’s going right. (Maybe it’ll get longer than you think!)

And keep moving forward. Because letting yourself get in the Love flow releases you from all the invisible barriers that are holding you back.

You’ve got a phenomenal role to play. Stay true to yourself and reach out to Love to help you do it.
This stronghold never fails.
