Your Sacred Self

There come times in your life when your values may seem to be in conflict with one another. This is simply an opportunity to prioritize your values in order to make a decision that aligns best with your Sacred Self.

For example, I've just recently gotten clear on my priority when it comes to two competing values related to The Love Diet. My first value is to appreciate and respect food. So I certainly don't take wasting food lightly. I understand how wonderful it is to have food to eat, and therefore, hesitate to ever throw out even a few bites of food.

My second value is only feeding myself food that nourishes me and makes me feel good. And even though it seems obvious to me now that this is the value of greater priority, I have found myself eating less than wholesome food, justifying it with the idea that it is wrong to waste it.

So, I want to encourage you to be bold and hold true to your Sacred Self when it comes to decisions such as these. The best route to go is surround yourself with wholesome, nourishing food that makes you feel wonderful.

However, if you are faced with a decision between not wasting food, or protecting the temple of your body, please, listen to your Voice of Inner Wisdom. Caring for the vessel of your Spirit is of paramount importance.

And even though you always Love yourself no matter what, let The Love Diet lifestyle support you in making your health and well being top priority.
