Are You Ready for Love?

With Valentine’s Day one week away, it seems an appropriate question.

Are you ready for Love?

Of course, we’d all like to think the answer is a resounding “Yes!”

But how do we make sure that we’re prepared to receive all the Love that is available to us?

Believe in Love

Just as the last edition of the Love Post said, You Deserve Abundant Love.
But it’s absolutely crucial that you believe:

There is plenty of Love to be had.

I am worthy of all the Love that I desire.

I am attracting the Love I seek right now.

The Love I want wants me.

Now, this is not necessarily an easy task. In fact, changing beliefs is perhaps one of the biggest challenges we face as people who are determined to create our own destinies.

It’s actually quite likely that we were conditioned to believe the opposite of the above statements.

So what can be done?

You are taking the first step right now: Become aware of the beliefs you wish to adopt.

Beliefs are a powerful group of thoughts or ideas that affect how we experience life. Because beliefs make you expect certain things . . . and you get what you expect!

It’s up to you to decide that you are going to focus your thoughts on what you really want.

If you want Love, write down the belief statements above. Write them each five times every day. Say them aloud. Focus on them as your new truth.

Stick with it and you’ll be amazed by the results.

Expect Love

Again, you get what you expect. So . . .

Be ready for Love every day. Feel the Love that is already inside you. One of the very first editions of the Love Post was a reminder that Love Starts With You.

Spend time each day feeling how good it will feel when your Love finds you. Doing this will speed it to you!

Make no mistake, the road to finding Love is not for the faint of heart. But know that the journey is worth every step.

I share some intimate moments from my searching days in Letters to my Love, a good read for this time of year.

Appreciate Love

Once you do find your Love, the journey continues.

Commit to communicating and demonstrating kindness and compassion, faith and trust. These are vital components of a healthy relationship.

Be thankful for the Love in your life. Even if it’s hard to feel sometimes, please remember that you are Loved.

I Love you. The Universe Loves you.

Ready for LoveThere are surely people in your life that Love you. They just may not know how to tell you.

Be courageous. Share your Love. It will attract more Love into your life.

Thanks for reading, applying and sharing.
