Love on Purpose

We all know how frustrating it is to let days go by without doing what we want to do. Obligations and mundane “to dos” can easily fill our hours. By the time the Sun goes down, we just want to watch some mindless TV and go to sleep.

And we probably all know that feeling of disappointment with ourselves when we snap at our beautiful children because we’re grumpy pants . . . again.

Chances are, the two are connected. Because neglecting our higher calling makes us impatient and irritable.

Let’s look at why this is and what we can do about it.

Love is our Purpose

The best I can figure, Love is our purpose. We were born to be a living example of the Great Love that brought forth the Universe, ourselves included.

But that’s just a general purpose that covers everyone. And to accomplish that hefty feat, we really need to address our personal desires and find a way to share our gifts.

To be truly fulfilled and feel happy on a regular basis, you need to pay close attention to what lights you up.

I’ve been hearing that phrase all over the place lately. And for good reason.

When you discover your unique purpose, you tap into your Love super powers. You gain clarity and conviction like you’ve never known before.

Suddenly, the path seems clear. You know why you’re here (on Earth, in exactly your current location) and you know what you must do.

And then when you actually create an action plan and work that into your daily schedule Love on purpose~ MAGIC!

The Universe responds to your demonstration of commitment and amazing things begin to happen.

Yes, there will be bumps in the road. Sometimes mountains will appear out of nowhere. But as long as you are clear on your purpose, you will surely succeed.

Defining your purpose is so important that it is the first of 17 Success Principles described by the great
Napoleon Hill. Here’s what he has to say:

DEFINITENESS OF PURPOSE

The starting point of all achievement.

Before you can accomplish anything of significance, you must first adopt a definite major purpose and specific plan to make it happen. Every day, focus on your most important goals to reach them rapidly and confidently.

Love on Purpose

It’s once we’re on track with our individual purpose that we are best able to be our authentic, Loving selves.

Sure, we’ll still just be people who make mistakes and get impatient from time to time. But we’ll have a huge edge over our old selves who just couldn’t seem to go easy on ourselves or those we care about.

The new you will actually want to exercise and eat well. You’ll want to nourish and nurture this body of yours, because it’s going to let you express the exquisite beauty that you’ve found within your heart and mind.

When you live on purpose, you embrace your true identity. You become more present and alive. Everyone around you benefits from your enthusiasm and positivity.

Sounds good, huh?
