Love is Uninhibited

I’ve said it before. I’m sure I’ll say it again.

Children are some of our best teachers. They live in the moment and they do what they want.

As well conditioned adults, it’s dangerously easy to be the constant reminder of convention and socially acceptable behavior to our free-spirited little ones.

Love is uninhibitedLately I’ve been wondering about the code of conduct that I take for granted as the standard.

Is it possible that I’m too concerned with convention? Am I overlooking more important attributes of character for the sake of polite conformity?

Children seem to arrive with very little limitation built in to their psyche.

As “grown ups”, it’s our goal to support, encourage and empower these amazing little people to become capable of their full potential.

And it is absolutely stunning to think just how magnificent they really are. How phenomenally powerful they can become.

So how do we allow this wondrous blossoming to occur?

We must recognize and release our own limiting beliefs, picked up along the way from a society that preaches safety in sameness.

We need to teach our children how to assess the risks and possibilities of their thoughts, words and actions.

We want to educate them in making positive decisions that align with Love.

But being Loving doesn’t mean being submissive. Love is uninhibited in its pursuit and achievement of its burning desires.

So it’s worth taking a close look at our own decision making process.

It may be time to let go of preconceived notions of appropriate conduct. Question the reasons that motivate us to stay within the bounds of our comfort zones.

Don’t hold back. Live with passion and courage. Be bold.

Offer an example of applied freedom to those around you, young and old alike.

Relax about following the rules that might not really serve the ultimate goals of peace, Love and happiness.

Self-control is extremely important. But it’s wise use means being conscious of those occasions that call for wild abandon and going with it.

Look out for opportunities to let loose. Pretend you’re a kid again. Remember your full potential is unlimited by conventional norms.

Go with Love and be your uninhibited self!
